I have been on vacation here since Wednesday. It's my annual snowboarding trip to the Mormon's Country. If there is something that the Mormons have to offer, it will be good snow and big mountain. I and my friends got up early Wednesday morning for an early flight departure. The airport was just empty and we got through security without issue.

I look like I was having a good time waiting to board the flight to Utah.

We rolled into Salt Lake City Airport around noon time.

According to the weather forecast, it was supposed to be sunny all week with no chance of snow. We landed on 3 inches of the white stuff and by the time we were on Wasatch Mountain that night, we were riding on half a foot of fresh powder. It continues to snow the next day throughout the day. Visibility is never good with snowfall, but fresh powder is well worth the trouble.

The snow stopped early Friday and the view from the top of Big Emma at Snowbird is simply amazing. More on the view later.................
